Watermelon Inspiration

This dress was inspired by a skirt that my co-worker Alison thought was cute. It was a basic full skirt with an elastic waist with a cute watermelon design. Since I'm not an awesome seamstress, this is what I came up with...

One of my all-time favorite activities is people watching. There is hands down no better place to do this than at the entrance gate of an amusement park. What makes this specific location so enjoyable? you may ask.

Combine very confused and often arrogant guests relying on a group of underpaid degenerates for guidance while using outdated technology to scan a ticket that may or may not be valid.

My job is to stand by and solve all of the mysteries of why the scanner does not like this particular barcode. Meanwhile, herds of people are anxiously pushing forward, awaiting their turn to see if they themselves will pass the scan test.

REALLY? What more could I ask for?

Anyway, while I am happily awaiting the next apocalyptic scenario of why the next person may or may not enter the park, I get some inspiration from how our guests choose to dress.
